  • U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages (U.S. public domain): QCEW total covered, annual average weekly wage.
  • Read through economicdata.dev, dataset qcew, version 2026-10-26.555cc1e983; its 48 input files from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics are named with their sha256 in this page's data, and the site's checks recompute every figure from them.
  • A year counts once all four of its quarters are published and none is suppressed. Jobs is the mean of the year's twelve monthly counts; the average weekly wage is the year's total wages divided by that mean and by 52, as BLS computes its annual averages.
  • BLS publishes each quarter about five months after it ends; economicdata.dev re-reads it daily.
